This firearm is a Colt Officers Model Target chambered in 22LR. The firearm features a 6" barrel with a slight taper from the frame to muzzle. The sights are elevation (front) and windage (rear) adjustable and have some witness marks to assess how much adjustment is needed/applied. Overall condition ranges from fair-worn, with most of the gun still blued but with freckling/distortion in the color and scratching from use. The high wear points near the muzzle and grip have begun to lose their blue, as typical for a gun that was used by its owners. Cylinder lockup is tight and the release is incredibly smooth. The trigger is fantastic, with a smooth double action pull and a single action pull that is light and crisp. The original grips have been lost to time and a set of faux ivory installed as a placeholder/protectant. Overall this gun could be restored and used as a "collector" piece or kept as is for a fantastic shooter.
