Description

The Remington Model 1875 takes much of its design from the highly successful Remington Model 1858. Both models are roughly the same size and share a similar appearance, but the Model 1875 was designed to use the new metallic cartridge. Originally, the Model 1875 was produced to compete with Colt’s iconic Single Action Army aka “Peacemaker” revolvers, but failed to be adopted by the U.S. military as Colt had already been given contracts with the U.S. Army. Despite not gaining any military contracts, the Remington Model 1875 became considerably popular with civilians and lawmen, who recognized their durability and quality.

Uberti’s Model 1875 revolvers are authentic reproductions down to the last detail, and are available in multiple barrel lengths, finishes, and chamberings.
