Here we have an Arisaka Series 1Type 99 7.7x58, bore is clean with nice rifling, 25.5" barrel, has wood stock, has the bayonet and dust cover on receiver, does not have monopod or anti aircraft lead wings and the mum has been ground off of the receiver. According to the markings it was manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal between1923-1945 the bayonet was manufactured at theToyoda Jidoshoki Seisakusho (Toyoda Automatic Loom Works) under Nagoya supervision, the bayonet is a straight quillon with square pommel.
