This is a Winchester high wall falling block rifle chambered for 32-40. The 29” octagon to round barrel gently is tapered from 1-1/8“ at the receiver to 1” at the muzzle. The blued finish is in excellent condition, having no scratches or corrosion. The bore is in excellent condition with sharp, clean rifling. A dovetail is cut for a front sight and two scope blocks are mounted on the top flat of the octagonal portion of the barrel. The color cased self cocking receiver is also in good condition. There are no scratches or corrosion, but the finish has some wear on the left side and there are some small dings on the right side. The hammer, breech block, lever and trigger are also color cased. The P+++ walnut forend and buttstock are in good condition. The buttstock has a semi pistol grip, a raised cheek rest, and a German silver schuetzen buttplate. There is a small chip out of the bottom of the grip and a ½” scratch on the right side of the wrist. The forend has an ebony inlay on the schnabel and is undamaged aside from a tiny ding on the left side. Length of pull is 13”, overall length is 48”, and weight is 11.8 lbs.
