This 12 gauge original Hammerless shotgun has Damascus 30" barrels with Parker Bros Makers Meridan Conn Damascus Steel stamped on the matted rib. Both barrel bores are good, with some light frosting. Both chokes are full. The right barrel has light pitting in the mid-section and the left has a repaired dent in the mid-section. The P grade Walnut butt stock and forend are in good condition. It has a checkered pistol grip with a horn cap and checkered horn butt plate. There is an engraved steel insert in the checkered forend. On the right side of the nicely engraved color case hardened action is a pair of foraging pheasant with Parker Bros, and on the left side, a pair of ducks taking flight with Parker Brothers. On the underside of the action is an engraved pair of pheasant and on the trigger guard is an engraved sunburst. Serial number 6XXX9 is engraved on the back portion of the trigger guard. The forend release is engraved with Pat'D Mar 26 1878. Length of pull is 14-1/8", overall length is 46-1/4”, weight is 7.4 lbs.
