Rated Calibers:

The Constitution 2 is not a multicaliber can, and instead is focused on being the best 5.56 can it can be. That said, there is still some crossover in caliber compatibility, as can be seen here.

5.56 / .223 – Minimum 10″ barrel length

.224 Valkyrie – Minimum 12″ barrel

22-250 – Minumum 16″ barrel

22lr, 22 Magnum & 5.7mm FN – No minimum barrel length.

Durability

The Constitution has always been known for its durability, and that has now been improved further! The baffle structure is rated down to a 10″ barrel, and with a stainless steel core and titanium tube, corrosion is effectively eliminated.

Light weight

A new 5.56 can needs new materials, and the Constitution 2 delivers. The titanium tube reduces weight significantly, and more machine work is done to it to reduce it yet further. This gets the weight down to less than 14.5oz for the whole silencer! Coupled with the reduced diameter and length, this is an easy addition to your rifle.

Proven suppression

The Constitution was already a proven silencer in terms of suppression, so we didn’t make any changes to that functionality. So you can expect the same great suppression with the Constitution 2! Suppression is never an afterthought or a side goal for us, we keep our silencers as quiet as they can be.

Backpressure reduction

Backpressure is always a concern, especially on short barreled 5.56 guns. Fortunately, this was taken into account here, and the design of this new 5.56 can allows some pressure to constantly bleed out the front of the silencer and reduce gas blow back.

Consistent alignment

Mono-core type silencers usually have great alignment, but the Constitution 2 takes it to the next level. The bore through the silencer, threads, and the thread shoulder are all done in the same machine, same setup, at the same time. This completely eliminates stacking tolerance issues from multiple parts being assembled together. As a result, the Constitution 2 mounts straight and concentric, and securely stays that way over hundreds or thousands of rounds.
